The month of December truly is my favorite month for shopping. Everything is sequins, glitter, or metallic and it’s totally acceptable to wear said items because you’re being festive. I also love when these pieces go on after-Christmas clearance.
“But Chelsea,” you might ask, “why would I buy all this festive red stuff and metallic sequins just to wait a whole year to wear it again?”
Lest we forget our other red holiday coming up: Valentine’s Day.
I’m going to show y’all how I styled my after-Christmas clearance pieces from Eloquii, taking these holiday party pieces to Valentine’s date night (or maybe even a spring gala?)
I’m not gonna lie, I’m personally too busty for this style of jacket and I’ve since returned this set since I was not comfortable in it, but the fabric was gorgeous in the blazer and pant and is such a fun alternative to a nice dress. I’m also sad this didn’t work because Boyfriend found a blazer in the same fabric at Macy’s literally on the return trip.
I love this coat. You can wear it with jeans like I have here, or you could go full Jackie O and wear it with a pencil skirt and pumps. I feel like Little Red Riding Hood all grown up. Also with the cape detail, it allows enough ventilation to wear it into the spring as it warms up.
This was my absolute favorite look from today. I have on the two-tone sequins pencil skirt in red, which I don’t see on the website anymore but was in store as of 1/5 (and on clearance!) I saw this on @roseybeeme’s insta and knew I had to have this. This could be dressed up with a nice top and heels or dressed down with booties and a jean or pleather jacket for a more fun look.
Not that I need anymore excuses to go shopping, but if you’re wondering if you should buy that sequins dress on clearance after the holidays, YES DO IT.
Now get to swiping on tinder and make sure you have a date to sparkle on.
