Y’all I love animal prints. At one point in my life, I thought they were a bit gauche, but I think the quality of prints has increased and honestly, I’ve evolved into the extra bitch I am today.
I’ve seen animal prints everywhere the last few seasons and I don’t see any slow down for fall and winter. Some are subtle and some are a little more bold, but the best part is you can style them like a neutral. I’m going to go through some of my favorite picks for animal prints, and how I would style them.
These shorts are my absolute faves! I’ve linked them in the pictures and they come in so many fun colors and prints from Eloquii! (I get a small commission from you using my link) I feel like a fun short is a little more unexpected than a solid short with a printed top, but with the animal print, since your base color is a neutral, it still feels very dressed up.
First and foremost, LOFT has some of the absolute best work skirts. I wholeheartedly believe in bringing your whole self to work and what better way to do that than an animal print skirt. This one is a little more structured than some of the pleated and midi skirts that are super popular, which I think makes it a great option for the work week. Some of my other favorites are these from Eloquii.
Match Sets and Dresses and Suits
I love a match set and animal prints are the perfect way to do it. Because of the neutral background, there’s a subtlety in their boldness that makes them super polished looking. Also, unlike a romper, you don’t have to get naked in the bathroom of a bar. Not ready for a match set? There’s so many good animal print dresses right now for fall to ease into the all-over animal print trend. I love this match set from Eloquii (the short from the shorts section + this button down). I wore this to a “smart casual” dinner and felt very on trend.
I also love all of these dresses, and they still in stock! Click for links!
Or this one from Cooper Road Collection
And finally suits. I had to restrain myself last fall from buying multiple leopard suits (I own 2 and I wanted a third.) These were perfect for the weddings I attended in them and I highly recommend a patterned suit for all your #weddingSZN needs purely for danceability alone. These are no longer available but I am linking you to the one I almost bought but couldn’t bring myself to.
Now you’re ready to be the fierce, Cheetah Girl of your dreams. What fall trends are you rocking? Let me know in the comments!
